The setup is intentionally simple. No server to configure, no files to modify. Here are the 3 steps:
- Choose your subdomain -- in Orilyt settings, enter the desired subdomain (e.g.: reports.myagency.com or audits.myagency.com)
- Add a CNAME record -- in your hosting provider's DNS panel, create a CNAME record pointing your subdomain to custom.orilyt.com. It's a single line to add
- Validate in Orilyt -- Orilyt verifies DNS propagation, generates a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for your domain, and activates routing. Everything is automatic
DNS propagation typically takes between 5 and 30 minutes. Once active, all your existing and future reports are automatically accessible via your custom domain.
Automatic SSL: security without effort
Each custom domain automatically receives a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Here's what that means:
- HTTPS guaranteed -- your subdomain works on HTTPS from activation. The green padlock appears in your clients' browser address bar

Custom white-label domain is part of the Q4 2026 roadmap. It will be available on the Agency plan and above:
- Agency plan required -- custom domain is reserved for agencies with an Agency plan or higher. Solo and freelance plans keep the standard white-label (logo + colors)
- 1 custom domain per account -- each Agency account can configure one custom subdomain. Multi-team accounts will be able to have one per workspace
- Transparent migration -- when you activate your custom domain, all existing reports automatically become accessible on the new domain. Old orilyt.com links continue to work via redirect
